Second, sugar also plays a role in maintaining health. For example, fructose can help support liver function, while lactose is important for bone development. In addition, sugar helps enhance the taste and texture of food. Many foods and beverages use sugar to create a delicious flavor.


However, of course, sugar should be consumed wisely. Excessive sugar intake can have negative effects on health, such as increasing the risk of diabetes, obesity, and heart disease. Therefore, it is important for us to understand the sugar content in the foods and drinks we consume every day.
